CCR Missions

The Calvary Chapel Missions program offers a variety of opportunities for our congregation to minister to those in our church, community and worldwide. It is our goal to equip our Christian brothers and sisters with tools that will enable them to participate in all of our Missions Outreach programs, such as the following:

Our Missions

Our Missions program is defined as being witnesses starting in our families’ right where we are and then out to our communities, cities, country and to the ends of the earth. We believe that every Christian has a responsibility and a role in missions whether it be sending, praying, or supporting. We seek opportunities for other ministries within Calvary Chapel to become practically involved in missions. We provide support/care for current missionaries’ ministries. It is our desire at Calvary Chapel to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child - We support Franklin Graham’s Operation Christmas Child. Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes and the Good News of God’s love. Along with shoebox gifts, millions of children are given Gospel booklets in their own language. It's never too early to pack a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child. Once your shoebox is packed, you can drop it off at the Church office. Our representative will then collect all of the donated boxes and deliver them to a regional center. These centers are open during National Collection Week (the week before Thanksgiving) each year. From the Regional center, the boxes are forwarded to a Processing Center where they are prepared for shipment to needy children around the world.

Compassion Sunday

Compassion Sunday – The purpose of Compassion Sunday is to set aside one Sunday of the year to give followers of Jesus the opportunity to share their love and faith with children in poverty by adopting (sponsoring) a child in need. This sponsorship involves communication with the child, finances, prayer and sharing the Gospel with them. Over time, Compassion sponsorship brings about a lasting change in the lives of children, releasing them from poverty and giving them hope for a new life story. Generally,
Compassion Sunday is held every April.
